ABOUT ME:
I am currently a final year student at The University of Manchester studying BSc Fashion and Textile Retailing.
Living in Manchester has given me the chance to live in a very cosmopolitan city, this vibrant setting has allowed me to make a diverse group of friends at University and the city's liveliness has enabled me to participate in many activities, helping me gain the most out of my student experience.
The BSc Fashion and Textile Retailing course which I study has opened up a vast array of careers within the fashion and textiles industry.
Many of my course modules have focused upon aspects of global sourcing, marketing and communications, areas which I believe companies adapt regarding particular countries customs and traditions, ensuring the highest profit and restricting the risk of causing offence to the native population. In ten years I can see myself working as part of an integrated team within an ever-developing city; I aspire to continue to develop my economic knowledge and global skills within the work place and to maintain personal development within a world which is continually expanding.
